This book is stunningly awful. The chapters follow no discernible organizational structure. The authors needlessly repeat themselves, making even the most simple of points seem complex. There is no effort to arrange information in a digestible manner. Useless scraps of information are scattered throughout the chapters in a way that makes it incredibly difficult to extract the important points. A collection of no fewer than a dozen acronyms might be introduced in a single page, with, again, no effort to explain the significance (or more often, insignificance) of why they are introduced in the first place.This is a terrible textbook that is excruciating to read, and this is coming from a law student who has a very high tolerance for reading dense text. Please, if a professor is reading this, choose a different textbook.

What an inexplicably terrible textbook. If you're taking an Accounting for Lawyers class then you'll need it anyways, but be warned: this is the most dense, most verbose, most disorganized and most unreadable disaster of a book I have ever encountered. It takes pages and pages to explain even the most simple concepts. It adds tons of unnecessary information even to basic examples. It repeats itself so frequently that it can be hard to distinguish one chapter from any other.

The book arrived in very good conditions, it only has some notes on the right borders, I thing I'll buy it by the end of this course, great insight on accountings. If you are a working professional and you lack of knowledge on accountings this is a very good basic book. (specially for a foreign student like me)

I disagree with the 1 star review. I think that compared to other accounting texts, this is an excellent text.
